Mission Details

NS-18

Chris Boshuizen, Glen de Vries, William Shatner, and Audrey Powers flew aboard New Shepard. William Shatner became the oldest person to date to travel into space, at 90 years old.

After the powered phase performed by the booster, the crew experienced roughly three minutes of weightlessness before the capsule began to reenter the atmosphere. Once in low atmosphere, the capsule deployed parachutes and landed softly in the Texas desert.
